Description

Cellular is optional on Milesight LoRaWAN Gateway. For models that supports cellular, we can install SIM card into the gateway and connect the gateway to the Internet via cellular.

This article will guide you how to install SIM card into Milesight Gateway.


Requirement

Milesight LoRaWAN Gateway UG6x



Installation

  • For UG65 Gateway
  1. Use screwdriver to open the protective cover on the back panel of UG65.
  2. Insert the SIM card into the device according to the direction icon on the device.



  • For UG67 Gateway
  1. Insert the SIM card into the device according to the direction icon on the device.
  2. Tighten the SIM dust cover with wrench to prevent water into the device.


Note:

  • UG6x supports SIM card size mini SIM-2FF.
  • If you need to take out the SIM card, press into the SIM card and it will pop up automatically.
  • UG6x does not support hot plugging (also called hot swapping). please turn off the power before you insert or take off cards.
