Since EM320-TH is an IP67 waterproof device, the magnet is designed to put inside the device and getting closer to NFC chip. To improve user experience, Milesight has reduced the effect of the magnet on NFC transmission, this will still affect the transmission for some parts of smartphones which have poor NFC capacities. If your smartphone is failed to read/write the EM320-TH magnetic version device, please check below:
1. Ensure the NFC area on your smartphone is correctly attached to the NFC area of EM320-TH device;
2. Take away the device from attached magnetic surface when you read it via NFC;
3. Keep the smartphone about 10mm away from the device NFC area and try to read it.

1. purchase dedicate NFC reader to configure device. NFC reader details: https://www.milesight-iot.com/accessories/
2. Remove the magnetic backflate of device to read and configure it.
