Hi Chiara,
Thanks for contacting Milesight-IoT Support.
The UC51x (v3) solenoid valve interface defaults to a 12V pulse output (adjustable to 5V/9V via dip switches), as long as the solenoid valve used supports this voltage and is self-locking (Latching function) it can be controlled.
Pulse Input Specifications: Low: 0~0.9V, High: 2.5~3.3V. You might consider Rainbird, Hunter, Bermad solenoid valves etc. Kindly check the brands which is compatible with UC51X.

Note that currently we have the latest hardware version V4 of UC51X, which is a little different from hardware version V3. UC51Xv4 removes the built-in dip-switch, which is used to adjust the output voltage of the UC51x (solenoid control interface), which is 12V by default.
Due to the fact that the existing mainstream solenoid valves are all 12V, and a few 9V solenoid valves generally support a wide range of voltages (9-12V/9-24V, i.e., the nominal 9V products can also be compatible with 12V). A few 9V solenoid valves generally support wide voltage (9-12V/9-24V, i.e., products labeled as 9V can also be compatible with 12V), you can further confirm the voltage supported by the solenoid valve with the corresponding manufacturer.
Have a great day!

Dear Sirs,
there are many manufacturer of latching valves, is there a tested list of solenoid valve that is sure that will works out of the box with the UC51X solar controller?
Thanks, BR
