Description

Milesight IoT Cloud supports create different diagrams of your own on dashboard, compare different values and monitor all the sensors at a glance. Before creating, please ensure Milesight gateway and Milesight LoRaWAN nodes have already added to Milesight IoT cloud.


This article describes how to create effective and highly readable diagrams with an AM107 and UC1152 for an example. AM107/104 in the meeting room monitors temperature, humidity, PIR, illumination, etc. while UC1152 is connected to a RS485 temperature and humidity sensor to monitors temperature and humidity of the office.


Configuration


Add Widget to Dashboard

  1. Go to Dashboard -> Add to select system widget of Device list.
  2.  Select which value you want to monitor of the sensor.
  3. The widget will be displayed on dashboard.


Create Column Chart on Dashboard

  1. Go to Dashboard -> Add to select system widget.
  2. Select Column Chart on the left panel. Fill in the name and units of Y1 and Y2, minimum and maximum value can be acquired automatically.
  3. Add two columns underneath, one for Temperature and one for Humidity. 1.1 and 1.2 belongs to AM107, while 2.1 and 2.2 belongs to UC1152. You can see different traits based on the dissimilar colors, that they are from different devices.
  4. The column chart is displayed on dashboard.


Create Line Chart on Dashboard

  1. Go to Dashboard -> Add to select system widget.
  2. Select Line Chart on the left panel. Fill in the name and units of Y1 and Y2, minimum and maximum value can be acquired automatically.
  3. The line chart is displayed on dashboard.



Add Custom Image on Dashboard

   1. Go to Dashboard -> Add -> System Widget -> Custom Image to import an image indicating virtual environment.  


   2. Click Add layer to create layer via drawing point. When the last point coincides with the first point, the layer is created.

  • Delete layer: right-click to delete after moving the mouse to it.
  • Change position of point: Left click and hold the point, drag it to the desired position. Then release the left-click.


   3. Drag the device icon in the list on the right to the layer. Then click Confirm to complete the configuration. You can also create other layers later.

Note: If there is no device on the layer, the configuration can’t be saved. 


    4. The Custom Image is displayed on dashboard. You can get the sensor data by clicking the icons.


Share Dashboard

  1. Click the icon beside the dashboard tab, select Share.
  2. Click +New Link to add a dashboard link.
  3. Set Permission and Expiry Date of this link.
  4. Copy the link and send it to others, then users can view or view&control this dashboard via this link.


Delete Dashboard

Click the icon beside the dashboard tab, select Delete to delete this dashboard. Note that relevant widgets will also be deleted accordingly.
