Sennet is a third party network server platform, which can help user to deploy carrier-grade LoRaWAN networks where and when they are needed. All Milesight LoRaWAN nodes can get connection with Senet Platform. This guide will introduce how a Milesight LoRaWAN sensor connect to Senet Platform in detail.
- Any Milesight LoRaWAN nodes
- A Senet account
Step 1. Access to Senet portal website: https://portal.senetco.io/, login Senet portal platform. (If here is no Senet account available, please create a new account first)
Step 2. Add Milesight Sensor to Senet Platform next.
1.Before adding a sensor, please confirm Senet platform has added at least one gateway whose regional frequency are same with this sensor, and this gateway has been active status already. Refer to this to check connect gateway to Senet platform first.
2.The sensor should be configured with same frequency plan with the gateway which is added to Senet platform.
1) Device EUI: Which can be found from Milesight Sensor by ToolBox software.
2) Activation Type: Which can be found from Milesight Sensor by ToolBox software.
3) User-specified Join Information: Disable or Enable.
If enable it, please copy Milesight sensor App EUI and Application Key, and paste them to Senet platform to register a sensor.
If disable it, please copy App EUI and Application Key which were generated by Senet Platform, and paste and apply them to Milesight Sensor by Toolbox.
4) Device Type: Leave the default blank value.
5) Support Senet Packet: Disable
Then this Sensor has been created on the Senet platform already. After you find Last Heard time changes, which means Senet platform receive uplink packets from this sensor successfully.
Step 3. Check this sensor uplink data packets.
Click sensor device EUI, go to Sensor detail page, all the data stream records can be seen here.
Step 4. Send downlink command to sensor.
Click Send downlink icon, user can send downlink data packet manually on the left.
PDU: Downlink payload, which can be found from Sensor user guide or payload structure documentation.
Time out (Mins): User-defined
Port: 85 (default value), which can be changed to other values on sensor.
When click Send, we can get related downlink data flow records on the right table.
